Hi My name is Ricky Rigor and I own and manage PDK Dojo Martial Arts School.
Our humble beginnings can be traced back in 2006 when we started operating in local school halls in Seven Hills with just a handful of students, but PDK Dojo Martial Arts School officially came into being in 2009.
Since then, we have been providing the best facility for learning Karate and life skills in a safe and fun way. We have been helping our students be the best person they can be.
Please join me in exploring what Karate has to offer in our lives. I hope to be a part of your journey in becoming a Back Belt!
MY BACKGROUND
* I have been training Shotokan Karate since the age of 10 years old.
* I currently hold an internationally recognised 3rd Dan Black Belt.
* I was a consistent member of the NSW and the Australian Karate team.
* I had numerous tournament success, specially in 2004 where I won 1st place in the male under 60 kg’s Kumite at the Australian National Championships. In the same year I also won 3rd place for both Kata and Kumite at Oceania Karate Championships.
* In 2007 I was granted Kata Judge A and Kumite Judge A, enabling me to officiate in various local and official karate tournaments in NSW.
* In 2008 I was granted NSW Kumite Referee accreditation.
* I am a NSW Karate Federation State Team Coach.
* I am a Registered Martial Arts Professional.
* I am an accredited Active After School Care Coach.
* I am an accredited NCAS Coach.
