At PDK, our team is more than just the senseis - it’s the students learning and developing together; it’s the parents supporting their children and each other. Being part of the PDK team is being part of a community.

Ricky Rigor

Karate is my passion. I have been practicing for over 20 years.

My vision for PDK is to create a dojo where karate practitioners work together to develop their mastery of this prestigous martial art. I am committed to sharing the knowledge and experience I have learned throughout my career. Karate is more than a sport, it is a way of thinking and being and I want to share what this means to me and learn about what it means for others.

I am currently a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Shotokan and 4th Dan in Shito-Ryu Karate styles. Of all the disciplines of karate: kata (forms), kihon (basics) and kumite (sparring) - kata is the one that attracts me the most because of its rich history and traditions.
